What a day yesterday! Thanks to all competitors and supporters for really turning up the heat and making this a fantastic event!

Scott Thorne and Candice Hammond reigned supreme and really made the race their own.

Congratulations to the 'first timers' like Mike McCann from Putaruru and Shan Maas & Peter Maas from Hamilton who worked so hard all year to become Karapiro Half finishers - you did it in style. Thursday Club night will be all the richer for having you 3 on the finishers list!

Results will be online tomorrow so check them out, be inspired and we will see you next year on the 10th November for Round 4!

In the meantime check out www.swimkarapiro.co.nz and come swimming on the 10th December. It's the same great location, the same organisation and plenty of fun!
