CONGRATULATIONS
Wow, what a day!

 Bruce Hunter returned after a 2 year absence to completely dominate a strong mens field and join two time winner Scott Thorne and Graeme O'Grady as winners of this event. That's great company to be in! Carl Read and Simon Cochrane took 2nd and 3rd place in a neck and neck battle through the swim and bike with carl pulling away slighty on the run the seal the silver.

Erin Furness (who recently got married and I'm sorry i can't remember your married name?)) was equally dominant in the womens race leading home Luanna Cox and Jacqui McKenzie. There has been an interesting side battle between Luanna and Erin over the years with Erin coming out in front this year.

St Peter's, Cambridge student Ben van Dalen has been itching to do this event for 2 years and got there this year to be 24th out of 53 male individuals which was an outstanding effort for the 17 year old cyclist/rower (more cycling and less rowing Ben!).

Congratulations to everyone who competed - whether in the 1/2, the Sprint or the 1/2 Sprint.
